The Literature Evangelist Summer Program offers a unique opportunity for participants to prepare for an evangelistic series following the program. Students will engage in holistic training, learning to share their faith organically, fostering spiritual growth, and recognizing the significance of witnessing and aiding others. This comprehensive program includes basic medical evangelist training alongside hands-on experience in various roles such as stocking, accounting, kitchen management, cleaning, and organization. Participants will also actively participate in agriculture, maintenance, construction, and groundskeeping activities, providing a balance to the intensity of door-to-door outreach while contributing to sustainability and reducing food costs. Moreover, students will receive instruction in the Tindal Method of evangelism, persuasion techniques, and Coulporteur strategies, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively spread the message of hope and salvation.

Curriculum

Introduction to Evangelism

  • Overview of the importance of evangelism in spreading the message of faith.
  • Understanding the role of literature evangelists in modern outreach efforts with the Spirit of Prophecy.

Spiritual Growth and Witnessing

  • Spiritual development techniques to enhance personal faith and confidence.
  • Practical strategies for sharing one's faith with others in everyday life.

Basic Medical Evangelist Training

  • Introduction to fundamental principles of medical evangelism (The Law).
  • Training on providing basic natural medical assistance and advice within the community.

Practical Roles and Responsibilities

  • Rotational training in various roles including stocking, accounting, kitchen management, cleaning, and organization.
  • Hands-on experience in each role to develop practical skills and efficiency.

Community Engagement and Outreach

  • Techniques for engaging with community members and building relationships.
  • Strategies for effective advertising and promotion of evangelistic events.

Hands-on Activities and Sustainability

  • Participation in agriculture, maintenance, construction, and groundskeeping activities.
  • Understanding the importance of sustainability and its role in supporting outreach efforts.

Advanced Evangelism Techniques

  • In-depth training in the Tindal Method of evangelism.
  • Advanced persuasion techniques and Coulporteur strategies for effective outreach.

Field Experience and Application

  • Practical application of learned skills through door-to-door outreach.
  • Collecting Bible studies, distributing literature, and engaging with community members.

Leadership and Teamwork

  • Developing leadership skills and fostering teamwork within the evangelistic team.
  • Understanding the importance of collaboration and unity in outreach endeavors.

Reflection and Evaluation

  • Reflective sessions to review experiences, challenges, and successes.
  • Evaluation of personal growth and development throughout the program.

Students may also purchase in bulk personal books and natural remedies to carry and canvass.

Finances

Students will receive a 50% scholarship of earnings they've made. Out of the 50% scholarship, students have the option to take up to a 10% advance per week. This advance can be used for allowance towards necessities. The remaining balance of the scholarship will be allocated to cover living expenses, vehicle maintenance and other program costs. Two plant-based meals are included per day as part of the program.
TEXTBOOKS
Student Training textbook, canvassing bag, and wallet are included and can be taken home with the students at the end of the program. All other resources can be purchased at the bookstore.

  • everything else in your room... ( The space is limited, and in order to practice living a missionary experience please bring ONLY what is necessary)

Dress Standards

In all our attire, let us rightly represent our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
MEN:
We encourage you to wear clothing that reflects the character of a Christian man. Therefore, please, no short pants and tight fitting clothing and clothing that expose unnecessary parts of the body. (i.e. sleeveless shirts)

WOMEN:
We encourage you to dress modestly, simply, and neatly. That which becomes a godly woman is desired. Therefore, please, no shorts, tight fitting clothing, pants (unless covered with a dress below mid-calves), and clothing that exposes unnecessary parts of the body. We encourage each person to be submitted to Jesus Christ who is our Head and Savior of the body.
